Eye fatigue and strain can range from physical fatigue, headaches, decreased productivity and increased numbers of work errors, eye twitching, blurred vision, dry eyes and red eyes.

- Adjust your Computer Screen
Place the computer screen 20-26 inches away from your eyes and at eye level. Keep the screen clean and dim the brightness. Consider using a glare filter over your screen.
2 . Make changes to your work environment, such as:
Avoid halogen lights due to the harmful and strain-creating blue light. Use a document holder next to your computer screen. Wear computer glasses with or without magnification with a slight amber or orange tint.
- Take breaks
Try the 20-20-20 rule. Every 20 minutes, look away about 20 feet in front of you for 20 seconds.
“Blink” often and use eye drops. Take regular breaks from computer work.
- Baby your eyes
Place a damp washcloth soaked in warm water on your closed eyes. Use artificial tears to refresh your eyes . Use an air cleaner to filter dust and a humidifier to add moisture to the air.
